Real-Time ETA and Fleet Management System for Green Minibuses
SOCIF participated in a city-wide smart mobility project commissioned by the Hong Kong Government. In collaboration with HKT and Octopus, SOCIF delivered a real-time estimated time of arrival (ETA) and fleet management system for the Transport Department, covering more than 3,500 green minibuses and over 160 minibus operators across Hong Kong. Serving millions of passengers every day, the system significantly enhanced the intelligence of Hong Kong’s public transport network and improved the overall passenger experience.
Premium Taxi Fleet Booking Platform in Hong Kong
SOCIF developed a taxi booking platform for one of Hong Kong’s largest taxi fleet operators as part of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s Franchised Taxi Fleet Scheme. SOCIF was responsible for the system development, delivering a smart taxi-hailing and booking platform that connects passengers, taxi drivers and fleet operators. Supporting more than 800 taxis, the platform provides the public with convenient, efficient and reliable taxi services.
The platform comprises a passenger mobile application, a taxi driver mobile application and a fleet operations management platform. It also incorporates AI-powered automated matching and intelligent pricing features to improve ride-hailing and dispatch efficiency, enhance fleet management capabilities and deliver a better passenger experience.

SOCIF supported the comprehensive revamp and system upgrade of the passenger information mobile application for Hong Kong’s largest public bus operator, delivering a smoother and smarter travel experience to more than one million daily active users across Hong Kong. The introduction of a range of new features—including real-time bus estimated time of arrival (ETA), intelligent route planning such as automatic filtering by lowest fare and fewest stops, alighting alerts and a smart search keyboard—has significantly enhanced passengers’ travel efficiency.
Smart Driving Safety System for Hong Kong International Airport Security Vehicles
SOCIF provided an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and driver monitoring system (DMS) for the security company operating under Hong Kong International Airport. The systems are used in the daily operation of security vehicles to enhance driving safety, driver management and fleet operational efficiency.
The project delivered an end-to-end smart driving safety solution covering hardware devices, in-vehicle installation and software customisation. Powered by artificial intelligence, the solution identifies driving risks and unsafe driving behaviour in real time, issuing immediate notifications and alerts to drivers for distracted driving, drowsy driving and other potential safety risks. This helps reduce the likelihood of accidents at an early stage.
